Football games that are being played at Etiwanda High School's new stadium will be broadcast on radio this year.
Etiwanda and IE Sports Net, in partnership with iHeartMedia’s Fox Sports 1350, announced an exclusive broadcast rights agreement for the regular season and playoff home games as well as providing comprehensive football coverage all season long.
“We are excited about the unique opportunity we have to partner with Fox Sports Radio to broadcast all of our home games from our brand new stadium this year,” said Etiwanda coach Kevin Davis. “This will allow for all of our local and extended Eagle Family members the chance to share in the action with us on Friday nights. What a great way to continue the tradition of Eagle Pride!”
Play-by-play duties will be handled by Fontana resident Brian “Coach B” Arrington and Eddie “Eternal” Talbert, Jr. of Fox
Sports 1350's morning sports/talk show, IE Sports Net. Arrington and Talbert will also host the Eagles' pre-game, halftime and post-game shows.
The Eagles' games will also be heard on New Talk AM 1440 when schedule conflicts arise with Los Angeles Dodgers or Rancho Cucamonga Quakes baseball broadcasts, NFL or NCAA football broadcasts. Beyond broadcasting the games on Fox Sports 1350, Eagles' games will broadcast on the iHeartMedia app.
"Fox Sports 1350 and the Etiwanda Eagles just reinforced the fact that we (Fox Sports 1350) are the No. 1 destination for sports in the Inland Empire," said Arrington.
The first game which aired on the station was the Aug. 26 opener against Summit.
The next home game for Etiwanda will be on Friday, Sept. 9 against Riverside Poly (radio broadcast will be tape delayed).
