Thursday, Aug 10, 2017
Pressreleases®, an artificial intelligence (AI) start-up and the makers of MyPolly™ announced today that the company has joined the OpenPOWER Foundation, an open development community based on the POWER processor architecture. MyPolly is an AI chat platform which brings human-like conversation to interactive chatbots, virtual assistants, internet devices, and enterprise business applications for improved customer experience, sales enablement, employee engagement, efficient operations, and business decision making.

Datalog joins IBM, Google, NVIDIA, and a growing roster of leading technology organizations working collaboratively to build advanced server, networking, storage and acceleration technology, control and flexibility to developers of next-generation private clouds.  The group makes POWER hardware and software available to open development for the first time, as well as making its intellectual property licensable to others, greatly expanding the ecosystem of innovators on the platform. Datalog's advanced MyPolly platform will use POWER CPU processors and systems platforms for optimization and innovation for its use in enterprise business applications.

Stéphane Egly, Datalog CTO, shares that, "MyPolly can deploy anywhere quickly and easily. No coding skills are required to use our integrated natural language understanding (NLU) engine. MyPolly can be contained within a customer's secure enterprise without the need for other cloud-based AI tools." He also adds that MyPolly supports global multilingual chatbots.

Jack Crawford, CEO of Datalog, describes that "We understand our customers' challenges of maintaining security of consumer data and internal communications. Delivering MyPolly on enterprise systems ensures privacy within an open architecture that is deployed within corporate data centers and private clouds."
