DGital Media, the audio engagement company that partners with media brands to create, distribute, and monetize spoken word audio products, announced today the launch of its production division, DGital Media Studios, and the installation of a veteran leadership team.
The new production division will focus on developing and producing proprietary audio content featuring media companies, brands, personalities and platforms. Its first project will be a fantasy sports platform called Fantasy Sports Voices in conjunction with Fantasy Alarm (http://www.fantasyalarm.com/) and featuring Kay Adams (http://www.maxxtalent.com/kayadams/), Eric Kuselias (http://erikkuselias.com/), Fantasy Sports Network with Pat Mayo (http://fantasysportsnetwork.com/author/thepme/), Roto Grinders (https://rotogrinders.com/) and Swish Analytics (https://www.swishanalytics.com/).
The DGital Studios leadership team, comprised of former Westwood One and NBC Sports Radio operations and production executives, includes: Sean Cherry, SVP of Programming and Operations, Chris Basil, VP of Production, and Lou Pellegrino, Executive Producer.
According to DGital Media CEO Spencer Brown, "Key to our success as a company will be developing and selling compelling on-demand audio -- converting the popularity of personalities and brands into audiences for content that we can distribute and sell. At core, we plan to build programming as strong as our sales/distribution."
Said DGital Chief Content Officer Chris Corcoran, "We are dedicated to giving the users of on-demand audio the best experience they can get, and it starts with the quality of the product; our talent and partners, along with the consumers and brands, are in great hands with this production team."
