Deluxe Entertainment Services Inc. (Deluxe) today announced that John Wallace, the President of Operations and Technical Services at NBCUniversal, has been named Deluxe's President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wallace replaces Deluxe's current President and CEO David Kassler.

A 27-year veteran at NBCUniversal, Mr. Wallace had been charged with leading the company's operations and technical services including studio, post production and distribution operations globally. Mr. Wallace was also responsible for global security, business services and the management of NBCUniversal's real estate portfolio, which includes facilities at Rockefeller Center in New York, Central St. Giles in London, and Universal City in California. Previously, Wallace was President of the NBC Owned Television Stations Group, overseeing NBC's owned and operated broadcast television stations.

"Deluxe is the global leader in digital media services, video production and multi-platform content distribution and I am so pleased to join this legendary organization at such an exciting time.  Having been at the forefront of the entertainment services industry since 1915, Deluxe is now a digital services powerhouse that can meet the full spectrum of needs of 21st Century content creators around the world," John Wallace said.

"It has been a true honor and pleasure to lead Deluxe during this extraordinary time of transformation and expansion so it is with regret that I am leaving this position for unrelated personal and family reasons," said Kassler. "As the industry moves more towards digital technology, Deluxe is in an ideal position to continue to capitalize on this rapid innovation. I welcome John to Deluxe and wish him and all of the talented professionals throughout Deluxe the best of luck."

Mr. Wallace will officially join Deluxe in early September with Mr. Kassler remaining at the company during the transition.

"I want to thank David for his dedicated leadership and hard work at Deluxe and wish him the best in his future endeavors," said Paul Meister, President of MacAndrews & Forbes Inc. "It is a great pleasure to welcome John to this new position and we look forward to working together to propel Deluxe into the next exciting phase of digital service innovation."
