The HbbTV CAM, which is compatible with Irdeto cardless solution and HbbTV1.5, providing user ID and entitlement status to HbbTV applications which reside in connected TVs, by using CI Plus Specific Application Support (SAS). In this complete one, STB-less solution, simpliTV users can enjoy broadcast (live TV) and broadband (on-demand) services as per their preference.

simpliTV is a television product by simpli services GmbH & Co KG. simpli services is a subsidiary of ORS comm, a company responsible for the set-up and operation of the technical infrastructure DVB-T and DVB-T2 in Austria. simpli services is in charge of the B2C sales and distribution of simpliTV.
Around 90 percent of the Austrian population is able to receive simpliTV via indoor, outdoor or roof aerial. An indoor aerial suffices at economic hotspots and in major cities.
Receiving simpliTV is possible with a HD-ready set-top box, i.e. the simpliTV box, or with a CI+ module, i.e. the simpliTV module for DVB-T2 compatible television sets. Up to 40 of the most popular Austrian and German TV channels are receivable, nine of which in HD quality.
